    Customization services

    We also offer customization services so that the Additive Factory AM system can be adapted to your specific production requirements. For example, perhaps you need a different size of chamber, or adjustments to the machine for specific purposes. There are many ways that customization of the existing Additive Factory system might benefit your company.

    Customization of the Additive Factory printing system is an engineering process involving several steps:

    • A careful evaluation of your specific needs for your production situation.
    • Determining if the customization you require is feasible.
    • If it is determined that the requested customization is feasible, then we will contract with you to carry out the necessary research and development to design the custom system.
    • Manufacture and assemble the customized system.
    • Test the system to make sure it meets your requirements. 
    • Refine as needed and repeat 5 & 6 until your requirements are met.
    • Certification, if required.

    Customizing or building a special, purpose-built Additive Factory AM system can increase its cost over a standard one by a factor of as much as ten, as special research, development and certification may be required.
